From the Eminent Commander
Dear Sir Knights,
I would like
to thank everyone for attending our 1st.
meeting. Everyone enjoyed the ribbon cutting and The Dinner that
followed.
This month we are glad to say that
our Guest Speaker will be Kenny Herald. He will be talking to us
about handling of Swords in the Commandery. Lets us have a good
turnout for this event.
We are looking for Volunteers to
get in touch with other Sir. Knights. If you have time to
contact other Sir Knights and encourage them to attend meetings
please call recorder Ted Connally.
We have several new things coming
up:
Our 88th
Birthday Party will be held on 23rd
of March, the cost for this Dinner wills $8.88 per person,
Knights only—no Ladies. Please make your reservations as we have
limited seating.
We are booking a Mystery trip
which we can invite the Ladies and a guest.
Please help us to make our
Commandery better and become an Officer.
We need your ideas and input to
build our Commandery.

From the
Excellent High Priest
Greetings
Companions,
I hope this finds you all well and in good spirits as we enter a
new year together. We are again looking at another busy year of
degree work bringing several new candidates into the York Rite.
And I am looking forward to seeing all of you attending our
meetings to show support for our new companions, and enjoy the
fellowship of seeing everyone.
I know not everyone would want to be on a degree team, but if
anyone would like to take a part (big or small) please contact
me or companion Ted Connally we would be more than pleased to
accommodate you at whatever level.
The following is a list of dates for our degree work;
Mar. 9 - Past Master / Most Excellent Master +
visit by our DDHP
Apr. 13 - Royal Arch (need many extra cast members)
May 11 - Royal Master
Jun. 8 - Select Master
After we go dark this summer, we will be doing the Knight
Templar Degrees. Thus I hope many of you will step up and
assist us in growing our great York Rite Bodies.
This fall we are planing to have a Past High Priest and Past
Masters Dinners. I will publish these dates soon so that you may
ALL plan your schedules.
